What is it and why do I need it?
Air Duct Cleaning is the process of removing all the dirt, dust, dander, pollen, mold, fungus, and possibly hot wheels and legos from your air ducts. Why should you have them cleaned? Three reasons:
-Improve air quality. In a typical house up to 40 pounds of dust is generated on an annual basis and then is recirculated 5-7 times per day by your HVAC system!
-Prolong the life of your furnace. When your furnace doesn’t have to work as hard it runs more efficiently. When it runs more efficiently it saves you money.
-Save energy and money.

What’s the process?
When we come to clean your air ducts we’ll use a camera to check and make sure that your vents are dirty. If they are, the method we’ll use to clean them is called the negative air duct cleaning method. In this method, ducts are placed under negative pressure and a compressed air hose with a whip or other attachments dislodges the dirt which is then collected into the negative air machine. If there are not already access holes, we will cut one or two openings into your ducts to set up the negative air, and seal them again when we are finished. This method provides the most thorough and comprehensive cleaning, and is the only one which is NADCA approved.
Will it be dusty in my house during the duct cleaning?
No. We seal your vents during the negative air process and all the dust will flow directly into our containers – not throughout your home! Before putting your covers back on we will wash them with Young Living Thieves Cleaner to ensure that not even one speck of dust flies through your home from the covers when your furnace is turned back on!
How long will it take?
An average sized home will take 4-6 hours to clean.
Do I have to be there?
We understand you’re busy so we try to be flexible and easy to work with. You can be home for as much or as little as you’d like to be!
